This is the personal blog of Stephen Caputo. All thoughts and ideas published here are his personally and not the views of anyone associated with him in any way (employers, friends, family, etc.).

This blog will serve as something of a public diary, recording the thoughts and ideas that I have to help connect with others and improve as a person. I will say very clearly that I am not perfect by any means (some might not even think I am smart at all) and thus the ideas expressed will not be perfect. Disagreement is welcome – argumentation and the Socratic Method are the best ways to learn and get better.

The title of this blog stems from the Charlie Munger quote in the website header. I am a firm believer that the most valuable quality any truly intelligent person can have is self-awareness – as a result I try to recognize my limitations and avoid stupidity rather than pursuing ideas beyond my level of intelligence. Hopefully that will become apparent over the course of this blog.
